Fighting for Members
Oversaw the Inside & Outside Agreement negotiations, securing the largest wage increase in Local history along with many other gains.
Filed mechanic’s liens and recovered over $50,000 in unpaid wages for 30 employees who worked on the Fred Meyer store in Fairbanks.
Pulled 1547 out of the Five Craft North Slope Agreement, increased the total package independently, and positioned the Local to return at full Inside Agreement rate after being asked back by other crafts.
Growing Work & Alaska’s Economy
Achieved the highest construction man-hours in recent history.
Secured an MOU with the State of Alaska recognizing Local 1547 journeyman exams for Certificate of Fitness testing.
Member of the Fairbanks North Star Borough “Tiger Team,” first working to preserve the F-16 Squadron and then helping secure the F-35 beddown at Eielson AFB.
Worked with a coalition of Alaskan leaders statewide — strategizing, lobbying, and testifying — to deliver the Willow Project, bringing $8–14 billion in investment.

Expanded the Local’s presence in the Mat-Su Valley.

Increased transparency by providing access to all Collective Bargaining Agreements online.
Increased staff site visit expectations to better serve members in the field.
